It only seems fitting that the man who wrote the song "The Gambler" opens his own poker site.

Kenny Rogers has put his John Hancock on an online poker room named thegamblerpokerclub.com.

But before the Department of Justice starts preparing indictments against Rogers, the site violates no laws as it is free.

"It's amazing how many people are out there that love to play poker," said music legend Rogers.

"There are so few legal and safe places to play. That's what makes us so special."
