Johnny Chan's New Online Site

One of professional poker's most popular players, Johnny Chan can be seen almost everywhere.

He made a brief cameo in the movie Rounders and he even tutored 2006 WSOP champ, Jamie Gold.

That said, Ongame Network has teamed with Chan to launch chanpoker.com

Players can learn from and even play against Johnny himself.

Marketing can be instrumental when trying to sell something.

Michael Jordan peddles Hanes undergarments and Nike shoes; Peyton Manning drinks Gatorade and uses a Mastercard to buy decaffeinated coffee and cut meat.

While you won't see any sports celebrities—with the possible exception of maybe Pete Rose—endorsing online gambling and casinos, the same cannot be said of Marvel Superheroes.

Marvel comic book characters grace a number of various CryptoLogic games.

Over the past two years or so, Crypto has introduced games featuring Marvel characters Hulk, Daredevil, the X-Men, Blade, Thor, Silver Surfer (pictured above), Punisher, Iron Man, Ghost Rider and will introduce games featuring Wolverine and the late Captain America—who was recently assassinated in the comics—around June.

Crypto and Marvel Entertainment recently extended their exclusive licensing agreement through 2010, meaning more Marvel action.
