There were two interesting news items on online poker making headlines recently.

The Vancouver Sun ran a piece on internet poker in Canada today.

There was news last week that the state of California was looking to initiate an online gambling study among other things.

Incumbent U.S. President George W. Bush's term in the White House is almost at an end and both the Democrats and Republicans are racing to name presidential candidates.
